Nut Butter Mug Cake

Like I said in a previous post (see it here), I am a tad bit obsessed with mug cakes. Actually, make that any mug recipe at all. I LOVE how they are basically just single serving meals that are as easy as pie. Except making pie is actually pretty hard. Who came up with that saying then? Anyways, back to topic. Another plus is that there are sooo many recipes out there.. Let’s jump right into this recipe. I’d like to mention that the inspiration for this fabulous recipe is based off a recipe from the blog Kirbie’s Cravings. Find the delicious recipe here.   • 3 T nut butter (I recommend peanut butter, but any type will work)
  • 1 T white sugar (you can also try brown or another type, but the results may differ)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup (or any other sticky sweetener)

Mix all ingredients together until smooth and evenly mixed. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then microwave for 15 second intervals till firm.

*note that microwave time may vary, so it’s best to start with just 1 minute.
